Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is how we work out what's actually going on with your body. Not where it hurts, but what's causing the pain and what else in your body has been compensating to fix it.
Every OmniWave program begins with a physical therapy evaluation that informs your treatment plan. The first OmniWave treatment is done with a physical therapist because the settings depend on which tissue we're dealing with, which is a clinical judgment rather than a default setting.
Our medical director, Chris Telesmanic, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, board-certified in orthopaedic physical therapy, with 20+ years in private practice treating patients directly. Not only does he set the clinical standard, he takes the time to get to know you and explain what is going on so you leave with more understanding and less overwhelm.
WHAT IS OMNIWAVE?

A non-invasive, FDA-listed focused shock-wave therapy, OmniWave is sends pressure waves into the tissue that's bothering you, to prompt your body to recruit stem cells, increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation.

What is an OmniWave treatment is actually like?
It's quick. A single OmniWave treatment takes minutes (not an hour), and is added onto a hands-on session rather than booked on its own.
You stay dressed, apart from the area being treated. Your Recovery Specialist puts gel on the skin, the way an ultrasound works, and moves the handpiece over the treatment area.
It's loud and it's odd, and it shouldn't be painful. There's a rapid tapping sound and a firm knocking sensation. Strange rather than sore, is how it's usually described. If it's too much on a tender spot, say so and the intensity comes down.
Then you go about your day. No recovery time, no restrictions, nothing to arrange around it.

The dose is the treatment.
Focused shock-wave works cumulatively. Eight treatments (twice a week for four weeks) is the clinical dose. One visit ignites relief but the full program is what does the real work while the tissue rebuilds between sessions.

We value a treatment at $150. If you paid out of pocket for focused shock-wave therapy, it runs roughly $100 to $300 a session. Our members are able to access OmniWave at a discounted rate of $90 per session.

Yes. OmniWave is a non-invasive, FDA-listed focused shockwave device. There are no needles, no incisions, no medication, and no blood.

Five to ten minutes per area. It's short by design, the point is frequency across weeks, not endurance in one visit.

None. You walk out and go back to your day. We usually pair the treatment with hands-on work in the same appointment.

Eight is the baseline clinical dose, twice a week for four weeks. Chronic, severe, or multi-site problems are dosed at 12 or 16 across 8 to 12 weeks.

Because one session might relieve pain temporarily, but it won’t last so selling it would be dishonest.
A single treatment can take pain down for a few days but only the full protocol changes the tissue. So OmniWave is sold inside a Recovery Program, or as a member add-on once you're already in a rhythm with us.
